Court Reservations, Rules & Regulations
Hours
of
Operation:
Courts
will
be
open
daily
from
dawn
to
10
PM,
and
subject
to
weather
and
maintenance
requirements.
Court
lights
are
available
for
night
play.
It
is
the
responsibility
of
the
residents
to
turn
off
the
lights
after
each
use.
Court Reservation - Sign
up on the Chalk-Board:
Use
of
the
courts
is
on a
first-come,
first-serve
basis.
When
all courts
are
in-use,
a two-some
or
four-some
must
sign
in
on
the
waitlist
side of the
board
with
a
name
and
arrival
time.
Playing
priority
is based
on
the
earliest
arrival
sign-in
time.
Play
is
limited
to
1.5 hours
unless
no
one
else
is waiting.
If
a
court
needs
to
be
cleaned
before
play,
sign
up
for
that
court
and
put
"Cleaning"
after
your
name
and
present
clock
time.
After
you
clean
that
court,
erase
"Cleaning"
and
old
clock
time
from
board
and
put
down
new
clock
time
and
start
your
play
on
that
court.
Apparel:
Appropriate
tennis
apparel
is required
and
upper body
garments
must
be worn
at
all
times.
Rubber
soled
tennis
shoes
are
mandatory.
Hard-soled
street
shoes,
sandals,
roller
blades,
or
footwear
that
marks
the
courts
are
not
allowed.
Use
of
Courts:
All
residents
must
have
their
Association
Membership
cards
with
them
when
using
the
courts.
Guests
must
be
accompanied
by a
resident
or
an
adult
with
a
valid
Guest
Pass
Card
in
their
possession.
Lessons
or
events
will
occasionally
be
scheduled
to
coincide
or
overlap
with
normal
operating
hours.
Play
at
Your
Own
Risk:
Play
is authorized
during
the
day or
at
night
with
proper
lighting.
If
there
is debris
or
water
on the
court,
there
are
squeegees
and
brooms
on
the
courts,
or
you
can notify
the
Fitness
Center
front
desk.
Do
not
play
until
the
debris
or
water
has
been
cleaned
up.

Reporting:
Report
any
injuries
to
the
The
Fitness
Desk
at
Orchard
Creek
(916)625-4030.

Prime-Time
Hours:
7AM
to
11:00AM
Sports
Pavilion
Etiquette:
If
a
group
is
using
the
Pavilion
for a
scheduled
event
please
wait
for
your
court
at a
location
away from
the
Pavilion
that
will
not
disturb
the
event
in
progress.
Access
to
the
restrooms
is
open
to
all.
Court
Etiquette:
Do
not
go
to
the
court
entrance
more
than
5
minutes
prior
to
your
start
time.
Please
keep
noise
to
a respectful
level
while
waiting,
entering
and
leaving
the
courts
so
that
other
players
are
not
disturbed.
Always
take
an empty
court
rather
than
bumping
someone
whose
time
has
run
out.
Take
the
first
available
court
even
if
it
is a
court
you
don't
prefer
to
play
on.
One
person
practice
and
all
use
of
ball
machines
or
backboard
practice
sessions
are to
be in
non-prime
time
hours
(after 11am.)
Do
not
leave
your
court
before
your
time
runs
out
to
sign
up
again
for another
court,
you
must
wait
until
you
are bumped.
Please
erase
your
name
from
the
sign
up
board
if
you
leave
the
court
without
being
bumped.
And please, if you play after dark and no one takes your courts,
turn out the lights. And
always, always close the court gate door.
USTA/SATA
League
Rules:
No
more
than
6 courts
may
be
used
for
USTA
or SATA
league
home
match
play
per day and
must
start
after
11AM.
No
more
than
two
home
matches
may
be
scheduled
at
the
same
time
of day.
Team
Captains
must
have
home
match
dates approved
by
the
USTA
or
SATA
Coordinator
before
confirmation
with
the
opposing
team
captain.
USTA/SATA
coordinators
are
to
check
the
LHTG
website
court
calendar
to
confirm
match
dates are
available
and
contact
the
LHTG
Board-designated
Court-Use
Coordinator
who
will
enter
match
dates
in
the
calendar
to
avoid
conflicts
with
upcoming
LHTG
tournaments
or
other
events.
Info
displayed
will
include
USTA
or
SATA,
courts to be used and
start
time.
USTA and SATA captains are responsible for composing and facilitating
their own teams at Sun City Lincoln Hills according to USTA and/or SATA
captain regulations and guidelines. The Association and the LHTG are not responsible for teams but can support with reserving courts, and
Sports Pavilion facilities. All Association rules apply including Guest
Policies, should a captain wish to have a nonresident player use the
facilities.
Captains
should
post
start
times
and
court
reservations
one hour
prior
to
the
match
time.
Captains should then notify residents playing on the reserved
courts of the reserved time.
If
courts
are
available
prior
to
the
start
time,
the
home
and
opponent
teams
can
use
them
to warm
up
before
the
official
start
time.
Lincoln
Hills
Tennis
Group
will
provide
communications,
assistance,
scheduling
for
USTA/SATA
captains
and
group
members.
LHTG
is not
responsible
for
USTA/SATA
membership.
